Solace Suite^™ Desktop/Laptop Service

We will install the Solace Suite^™ computer agent on every managed desktop and laptop, where they will perform their designated functions based on parameters we will define with you.

In addition to the agent tasks common to both servers and computers, the Solace Suite^™ Desktop/Laptop Service agents provide the following targeted services:

• Software deployment and updates
• Maintenance activities – e.g. Computer and Internet  temporary file deletion to maximize hard drive space and performance)

Because these agents are loaded to every managed desktop and laptop, even your remote and traveling employees are fully protected. They need only an Internet connection to be automatically updated.

Solace Suite^™ Server Service
We understand and respect that you may have all your critical business data on your office servers, so we offer the Solace Suite^™ server agents. Just like the Solace Suite^™ computer agents, these will be installed on every managed Microsoft® server. In addition agent tasks common to both servers and computers, the Solace Suite^™ server agents offer the following targeted services:

• Ultimate security protection for administrator passwords, which change daily
• Tests Microsoft® Exchange Server hourly to verify email flows through your system and back to our network operations center
• Monitors performance counters
• Monitors log files
• Monitors event logs
• Monitors Windows® Management Instrumentation data

Again, these agents will perform their responsibilities based on criteria we will determine with you, our client. The performance information they gather is transmitted to the Solace Technology Team for further processing, analysis, and action, if necessary. The agent also collects and transmits data that we use for performance trending and analysis to help you plan for your technology investments.

Optional Solace Suite^™ Remote Care Gateway Component
Because each computer agent separately downloading patches, updates, or software from the Internet can be bandwidth-intensive, we can install a gateway component on a computer or server, which is online to the Internet 24 hours each day. This machine will act as a download cache/proxy. Any Solace Suite^™ computer agents will communicate to the gateway using standard HTTP, instead of using up your bandwidth communicating with the Solace Technology Team directly.
